Army Iraq war veteran Maureen Short works as a safety engineer for Chevrolet studying the effects of drowsiness and fatigue on drivers, looking for ways to make cars safer. She was in the Washington DC area to demonstrate a drowsy driving simulation suit and goggles that replicates how your body feels when you are driving in a drowsy state, including delayed blinking patterns, sluggishness, extreme tiredness.
